Questions like this one are asked by people every day. Sometimes something is so hard, that it seems impossible. One of my best tips to stop smoking is to not let your guard down and stick to your decision. If you happen to stumble or fall, just pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Rarely does anyone stop smoking for good on their first try.</p>
<p>You must remain determined and be diligent if you are going to successfully stop smoking. This is not a cake walk. If you come into it thinking that stopping is easy, you will find yourself standing in line at the local market with money in hand. You need to want to get rid of this horrible habit in order to get rid of it. Nothing is out of reach for you. You must stay focused on your goal and make it happen.</p>
<p>It may require a couple of tries and you may fail, but it&#039;s ok. Just remember, what works for some people may not work for you. Even though you may fail at one method, the next one may work for you. You must stay persistent in pursuit of kicking the smoking habit. Try to avoid thinking of slips as a failure, and instead think of it as a learning experience. You can always find something good and take it forward with you.</p>
<p>It took me several tries to completely stop smoking. The first time I stopped &#034;Cold Turkey&#034; and gave up for over a year. Then, I joined the military and started smoking again. However, I learned that one of my triggers that lead me down the path to smoking again is boredom. Sometimes we would sit idle for hours at a time with nothing to do. Other people would be smoking and so I decided to just have one. Unfortunately, that one cigarette turned into a pack and a pack into a carton. It didn&#039;t take long and I was a full-blown smoker again. It was very disappointing and I didn&#039;t attempt to stop again until 4 years later.</p>
<p>In other words the very best tip to stop smoking is to find the method that works for you. Your objective is to keep on trying until you get there. Keep at it and you can do it. <p>The concept of the quit smoking patch is simple. When you smoke, you receive a dose of nicotine, which declines as time passes. This leads to the craving for another cigarette when the level has dropped sufficiently. But the quit smoking patch delivers a steady dose of nicotine through the skin, reducing the cravings when you try to stop smoking.</p>
<p>The quit smoking patch comes in three strength levels. Exactly dosages can vary between manufacturers, but the usual levels are 21 mg, 14 mg, and 7 mg.
